Neva Parker for CA Assembly District 5

In our first endorsement of the 2026 campaign cycle, Sierra Forward enthusiastically endorses Neva Parker for CA Assembly District 5, which includes the I-80 corridor from Roseville to Meadow Vista and the US-50 corridor from El Dorado Hills to Placerville.

Neva, a native Californian. had a notable career serving in non-partisan administrative capacities in the state legislature. She is a graduate of UC-Davis and holds an MA degree from St. Mary’s College; she and her husband have run a number of successful small businesses in the area.

Neva previously ran for Assembly District 5 in the 2024 election cycle, building name recognition, community connections, and campaign infrastructure. In a district like ours, we know that winning can take multiple election cycles to build the momentum needed for success. Neva promised to stay in the fight, and she’s keeping her word. Now, let’s keep ours.
